Two stones from Dana

I bought an interesting peach-y colored spinel from Dana. I wanted a stone that was a little different colored, and I got it.

Dana also sent along a peridot as a gift. I love this stone! I think I will have DanielM make it into a bezel necklace.

Very nice! You know, it amazes me the stones that Dana gives as gifts as I find they are every bit as nice as the stones I buy from him. So it is a really generous gift. I love the cutting on that peridot.

Great color on the peachy spinel, one of my favorite of all time colors. When I saw your title, "Two Stones from Dana," I said, "Uh oh, drool-on-the-keyboard to come." Right on!

"Interesting" is right! I really like this color a lot, and it's not one I've seen all that often. Lovely ...and I love Dana's gifts, he's such a sweetie.

It would be interesting to see pictures in different lights, since spinel is such an interesting color-shifter. Peridot looks beautiful in this picture, less yellow than usually seen in these stones.

Off-topic, Herekittykitty, I like the ring in your avatar. Did you custom-set the stone? Looks beautiful.

Thank you minousbijoux. I agree about his gifts. So generous. The best part is that the peridot is from San Carlos, AZ and I've been wanting an AZ stone.

This guy appears pretty classy, but he seems to do bezeling only. No harm to ask, though.

pmgart has a ring, a bezel with openings on the sides, it is not on his etsy site but you can vaguely see it on the name of the store. I shall try to find it on Flickr. This is the company I have been planning to use for a long time.
