I love the look of super thin (<2mm) pave bands, but was wondering about durability. For those who have them, do you have any regrets? And how often do you wear it...everyday or only on special occasions? And how is it holding up (getting bent, losing stones)? I was thinking of getting a 1.7mm or even a 1.5mm bead set band. Do such tiny diamonds really sparkle?

I''m looking for something too around 1mm though. I think they have a glittery look rather than large sparkles. Then again I could be totally wrong.

Am also curious as to how well they hold up.

Whew! Lots of questions! No regrets for me. Mine is 1.7mm bead set, palladium. It is NOT an eternity band, but a 3/4. Also, my e-ring juts out past my band, so it provides a little protection for the w-band. I''ve worn it for 10 mos (well, a little longer since I wore it around the house before we got married!) and haven''t had any problems with losing stones or bending, which I do look out for, since my e-ring doesn''t quite sit flush against it. I wear my e-ring and wb almost every day, but I do have a plain band that I wear when I''m working out, working around the house, being active, etc.

I loooove my tiny band. I like how versatile it is - sometimes I stack it with my plain band, and I really want a sapphire eternity to stack with it someday (oooh or an EC 5-stone anniversary band - swoon). AND it really does sparkle like a freaking disco ball - love those teensy diamonds! You get a big "GO FOR IT!" vote from me - I think a teensy band would look gorgeous with your e-ring (your av, right??).

Elmorton- is your diamond band from ArtCarved? Thanks!

Elmorton...I love your band. Do ypu mind telling me where you bought it? looking for one that is similar in size......thanks!

I''ve got a pair of 1.5mm diamond eternity bands that I love. I have had no problems at all with them and they do sparkle. Lately they seem to be my "go to" rings and I''ve been wearing them almost every day and haven''t lost any stones. They are .40 ctw each (33 stones) and the stones are SI2 G color. I took a chance and got them from a manufacturer on Ebay and I couldn''t be happier - they were exactly what I was looking for. I use them as stack rings and when I stack them with my shared prong eternity they look so good (my eternity band is F color and the bands look just as white to me). I''ll post a picture with the shared prong.
