Hi all,
I hope this is in the right section!

I have recently purchased an Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner through an online sales site. When it arrived it was in a plain box and had no instructions (or even a brand name). I queried with the sales site and they directed me to this web page (which ironically is not the site I bought from):

http://www.buynowdirect.com.au/ultrasonic-jewellery-cleaner.html

They have advised the manufacturer does not have anything further than what is on the above page.

Does anyone have this machine, or know what I am to do with it? Do I just put water in and switch it on as it says? Will it switch off after a time, or am I to let it go for a time then turn it off? Should I just return it?

Many thanks in advance!

Hi GM

Long time no see!!

I used to have something similar. I just put in warm water, a squirt of washing up liquid and left it on for about 10 minutes. Mine didn't switch itself off.

Gave the jewellery a rinse, then dried it. I then wiped down the machine, ready for next time.

Just be careful if it has no basket that things do not touch. You do not want to damage your sparklies!!

HTH!!

Thanks Susimoo - it does help! (I did have to google HTH tho... sometimes I feel so old!)

I will give it go tonight. I am still a bit annoyed they claim to not have instructions, when something like the items touching could cause damage!

Why on earth is there a KEY in there?

ETA: If there were instructions, they should say, "Don't put your keys and your jewelry in the ultrasonic together"!

On further googling, I found this picture of what must be the proper box (mine came in a plain white box). I thought I would put it here in case anyone else needs it!

Hi GM

Sorry about the HTH's!!

Well, we shall see Susi. Let's see if it does turn off after 15 mins when I give it a try!

I have been posting on their fb for advice and someone has posted that it is a fake. I have asked for elaboration.

:wavey: Hi I know this post is old - ish, but I spotted it whist searching google for *instructions" on how to use the blooming thing!
"fill the unit to the indicator level..."
Indicator level ?? What indicator level?? Mine came in a box (same as pictured) with very vague instructions on it and so i singged up just to see if A, you had any success with yours and ask how much water you used and lastly did you put the lid on it when it was running the cycle???
