white gold?
sounds like a nickel allergic reaction.
That was my first question....were you wearing a white gold ring?

It could be something like athlete's foot on the hand. Athlete's foot usually starts like a small water like blister and is itchy.

dying to know what is going on with your finger. hopefully it is all better and you have forgotten all about it.

Hi! I hope you got good news at your appt.

I had my finger swell up and be red and itchy a couple years ago. It turned out I had super dry skin from the weather. It was so bad I had to go on medication, but it cleared up with time.

I hope whatever you have is easily fixed.

Thank you everyone for your kind advice and concern...

My finger was much better Saturday after being kept covered and dry. My doctor couldn''t find anything that would have caused the reaction...and sent me home with a ''script for medicated cream. We''re going to continue to watch over it for the next while.

Phew, hopefully it''s still getting better. Sounds nasty, and in your line of work with products etc on your hands all day, you don''t want an infected or open wound on your finger.

Sending you lots of healthy dust

Aw hope it gets better soon Italia!

Your post actually reminded me of this past summer when the skin on my wrist started becoming very blistered and itchy (and gross - ugh) where I wore my watch. I wondered if it was the sweating (I was in very very humid Tokyo) causing a bad reaction with the metal on my watch.

it got better once I stopped wearing my watch outside, and used some medicated cream, so I hope your finger is alright and the cream helps!
