Unheated Mogok Ruby 2.17 cts

Thank you Peacechick! Yes, it took me a long time to certify the Mogok ruby. During this time I began to collect some antique jewellery pieces. It´s a little bit easier to find (not always), some old colour stone untreated/unheated in such kind of pieces.
So on my way, I found a three stone ruby 3.57 carats with old cut diamonds that I loved.
The colour is pinkish-red classical old stone,20150613_160832-1-1-1.jpg with a superb clarity that never blacks (Burma called "the Queen of Burma"). The King is called the pigeon blood colour.
So, know I have one ring and one loose Mogok ruby. Last 2 years Mogok seems like depleted!!!
Thanks and Best regards!

I recently had to learn that many good labs need months(!) to get a report done with long waiting lists (probably longer for non-pro walk-in customers), so you better plan a long holiday or ship the gem to bangkok earlier.

What I learn in the last years is that the best way to certify a gemstone is visiting a Gem fair (Miami, Hong Kong, Geneva...), there you can find all the labs (AGL, GIA, SSEF, GÜBELIN) and profit the occasion. So there you can certify your gemstone in one day to other for the regular basis price, without extra cost.
Best regards!!!
