Dear PS''ers,

I''m about to purchase some tickets to a concert at the United Center in Chicago and need the expert advice of the Chi-town peeps out there who have been there before.....

The set up for the concert is "cat walk" style -- and was wondering if I did Section 121 or 113 rows 1-5 would they be better than on the floor sec 1 or 3 in the first 5 rows? I can''t really tell from the United Center website or any seating charts.

Thanks for any advice!!!

bump -- anyone? I kind of need help before I purchase these tickets this weekend -- and I don''t want to buy bad seats..

T H A N K S!!

Hi! I''d rather sit on the floor because the 100 sections are pretty far away. I sat in 106 (I think) for a Simon & Garfunkel concert and was so sad that I hadn''t opted for floor seats, instead.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Haven -- Do you know if there is a pit before the stage or security? I wonder if it is worth it to get front row or not... I''m thinking close to the cat walk would be good...

But then sometimes if you are up a little higher than the floor, you get a great view...

Thanks again for your help!

I have no clue, sorry!

I just know that seating in that first section is really far from the stage because of the way the United Center is set up. I have friends who sat in the second row on the ground for U2 and loved it.
