Hi! I've had my rings soldered for awhile now, but I'm thinking about getting them unsoldered. I'm not sure if I like them soldered together. What do you think?

What was your reason for soldering them then? Was it to stop the spinning?
What is your reason for unsoldering them now? Is it for comfort (thick bands) or is it just the look?

There is a lot going on on that one finger and my preference is to wear one on each hand, but then again, I'm not traditional when it comes to jewellery.

I originally had them soldered to keep them from spinning, but now I kind of miss them spinning and the look of two separate rings.

I personally like my rings unsolder, but I also have different bands that I change in and out with. Your rings are quiet a heavy set- are you thinking unsolder them so you can mix and match with a thinner band or similar?

Unsoldered would be my preference because I like to mix and match :)

One point to remember: When the rings are spinning, they are acting like tools and wearing each other away.
Soldering them together prevents that abrasive action.....

Having said that- you only live once-might as well have your rings as you prefer, regardless of the wear issue. That's how we find many people feel ultimately
