This was a gift to me from a close tribal friend in Afghanistan. Just curious about your thoughts. Two inclusions, actually look like fractures. Carving of Alexander. Other than the apparent fractures..it is clean. If I remember it weighed in at 73 carats.
In the manner and from whom it was gifted it is special but may be quite valuable as well. It tested as Ruby on my Presidium Tester. I was told it is over 100 years old. I intend to send it to GIA for testing. Just seeking thoughts and opinions.
