Its a nice drop style asscher with small clipped corners and small windmills.
Not my favorite look but if you like the look its one of the good ones of that style.

Id prefere bigger windmills myself.

Nice stone but, like Strmdr, I''d prefer a more obvious windmill appearance. This has more of a square emerald look than an "asscher" look.

I know nothing about asschers, but the ideal scope on that asscher looks fantastic.

The only thing I would say is that I too, would prefer bigger windmills on it. I think that part is the beauty of asschers. However, if you like it, then go for it!

I actually don't like large windmills, to me they detract from the step look...which is what I want to be more prominent.

So that kind of stone would be my favorite visually, the IS looks great and wow that 40x mag picture seems stunning.

It even has EX EX..yummy. Please let us know what you decide. Can you get actual pictures?

What do you mean by actual pictures? that is the actual picture that was sent to me from the vender. It is my understanding that those are the stone''s pic. So far, I am leaning toward it. If I do get it. I will take more pics when I get it. I hope my rebel xt will do it''s job.

I mean actual pictures of the stone in a regular environment, not the special lighting environment that is shown there. I have asked for this from vendors at times and they will take a picture of it on the table or on someone''s hand etc so you can get a bit of a feel for what it really looks like. Just a thought.

Beautiful ring Monk! Great job, I''m with Storm and Hest88 liking the bigger windmills but again it all comes down to personal preference. Yet another awesome facet (not to be punny ;^) of the asscher there are so many different types to choose from! Many congrats on your final choice!
