Agreed. I noticed that too. If he surprised her like I believe he did, he picked it on his own, MAYBE with input from her mother.

Hi I always lurk on this thread and admire the lovely eye-candy because I haven't had anything to add, but I will chime in on Kim Kardashian if no one minds

IMHO, pairing that ginormous ering with that giant eternity band is what makes her tacky--not the ering itself. I actually think it's very classic and looks good on her. However, with the eternity band, it doesn't even fit below her knuckle. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. (And that eternity band looks very uncomfortable, but that's a different story.)

Now, I don't know why, but it is bugging the heck out of me that the tabloids are comparing Elizabeth Hurley's gorgeous new e-ring to Kate Middleton's!?? Take this quote:

"Elizabeth showed off a huge new sapphire, set in a band that looks a great deal like Kate Middleton's engagement ring."

I love BOTH fab rings, but they look and are NOTHING alike! Why can't they (tabloids) just for ONCE get it right!? No wonder most "non-PS'ers" know nothing about jewelry, they get all their news from sources like that
