Ditto. I just think that pear is too big. And I LOVE PEARS! And big diamonds! But that stone is not attractive in that ring to me at all.

Like I said..., Taste is personal!!!

Nobody said that BIG Diamonds should be set in rings..., or anywhere else....

Not everyone likes the color of platinum!! Besides, there could be cultural reasons for wanting gold.

I am in the market for diamond bangles like that for stacking. I tried some on the other day, and could barely get them over my hand!!!! (and I do NOT have huge hands or huge wrists). OUCH. But I am so in love with that look...

I know a good trick for getting tight bracelets on - learned it from an Indian friend. In the Indian culture it is typical to wear many bangles. Take a plastic baggie and put it over your hand/wrist. The bracelet will easily slide over it.

I wonder if this would work in reverse. It probably would, though could be difficult to maneuver.

I know...I think she''s far too smart and beautiful for him...I''m just not a big fan of his.
