Dixie, uhh, why are you moving in /buying real estate together without a ring on your finger? not very good boundaries. has he been specific about marriage? I'm guess I'm just old fashioned....

Ok, won''t provide an answer..well, not a long one anyway. Just wanted to say, yes, we have talked about marriage and have both been clear we want it and both clear that we wouldn''t move in together w/o knowing that. Haven''t spoken of a specific time but we are planning to move out of state in a couple years and have both said we want to be married before that. He''s also asked me to look at rings, etc..
Sorry, couldn''t help but answer that. And I''ve definitely thought about your comments before b/c others have questioned us buying a place before being engaged. I''m actually one of those people who wants to live together first. I see engagement as the step after living together. Just my preference.

Thank you! Just wanted to put out a quick thanks again for last week. I am feeling better this week. I let him know that I needed a bit more of a connection w/him, especially when I''m so emotional and we had a great weekend, as always. And I''m trying to take control of other things in my life, so that I don''t feel so helpless w/this sort of stuff.
