A few things that I've purchased over the past few months that I've never got around to photographing.

First up, a moonstone necklace set in blackened silver. The moonstones aren't great, there are a few with blue flash but mostly they're either clear or white/grey. I love how they look against the blackened silver though. The one thing I don't like about it is that the stones in the front tend to flip over.


Next is a grey star sapphire. It's 12+ carats and semi opaque. The star is great; better than my picture. I won this and the ruby with lowball ebay auction bids so I wasn't overly concerned with the quality.

This is a .95ct ruby that I won in an ebay auction for next to nothing. The color is quite an attractive purplish red/pink. It has some nicks and is fairly included and silky looking. I haven't got it tested for treatment though I'm considering sending it to AGL.


Lastly, a 1.87ct fire opal. It's a gorgeous orange body color with some green play of color.

Yeah, the front part tends to hang down rather than lay flat. It might be better if it fit a litter closer around my neck.

I don't actually have a plan for it. Maybe a pendant in high karat gold?
