I was playing with my friends 7 mo. old daughter and she (my friend) was trying to show my what my ring looked like from a different perspective because I was so worried that it looked too tall! I even made her wear it around for most of the afternoon so I could see what it looked like on her!

Imdanny – LOL! I loved the box too! Yes, he was a real great guy and did more than I ever expected him to do. He was pretty gracious about the whole thing. I LOVE the new jeweler I’m working with and will be going back to him for our wedding bands! Thank you for your kind words

Since we found all of the information on here so extremely helpful when deciding how and what we wanted for my ring I wanted to return the favor and post as much detailed information as I can for other users:

Made by Ben at Kim Yen Jewelers (S.F. Jewelry Center) - He takes extreme pride in his workmanship and is VERY detail oriented. I couldn't be more thrilled! His shop and website look pretty simple and no frills but don't let that fool you. He has done some amazing work and has a huge book of a lot of his custom work. He even has pics of the gold and diamond plaque that he made to be put on the torch Willie Mays gave Barry Bonds for his 660th HR! (They had both carried the torch before the 2002 Olympics)

18k White Gold
20 x .008c (1.2mm) melee in halo
12 x .008c (1.2mm) melee in trusses
27 x .025c (1.8mm) melee in band
band is 2mm wide (which I LOVE)
8 1/2 mm tall (from finger to table height)
2 x 1.8 or 2mm (not sure on this one?) pink sapphires

I'm told melee was F/G VS quality but I will confirm once I get it appraised. They do sparkle like crazy!
