Very good cut but get 2.0 HCA

By "from the side" I think the person means at like 45% angle. It's pretty hard to see any inclusion from straight on because it gets lost in the faceting.

Thank you. Even though the flaw is there but I don't think I can do any better with AJ.

I was about to purchase this today and another JA specialist said the mark in the center is invisible face-up but may be visible from the sides. I am a bit of confused. May I have your views on this as how obvious it is from the side? Should I buy it?

Diamonds are graded from the top. In the trade we would say that what you can see through the sides or from the bottom do not count as far as the grading is concerned. Some in the public have decided that they want nothing visible from any direction and thus get to spend more for higher quality diamonds.

Either choice is perfectly okay, it is a personal thing.

You need to bring in the diamond and look at it with YOUR eyes, it is the ONLY way that you will know if YOU like it.

Thank you Wink :wink2: If I had enough time, I would definitely get it sent to me to have a look but I'd better to make a decision today.

Does the diamond look the same in real as when it looks at the lowest zoom out level? If so, I think it will be very hard to see any inclusions from any sides.

I could not say even if I knew as it is against the rules for me to comment on another vendor's diamond.

I can say that it is impossible for me to now without seeing it myself, and that even if I knew I could not see it I would not know if YOU could not see it because your eyes are going to be different than my eyes.

I totally agree on this point.

I talked to another JA specialist today and she said it is about 6.5mm wide, the inclusions are white and looks like they blend well with diamonds almost translucent so it should be eye-clean.
