Hi everyone,

I've seen this bracelet on the Tiffany website and like the design, but not the price tag:

http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/Item.aspx?fromGrid=1&sku=GRP01887&mcat=&cid=&search_params=s+1-p+1-c+-r+-x+-n+6-ri+-ni+0-t+victoria&search=1

Does anyone know if there are tiffany-inspired bracelets around that look nearly the same?

Also, I wonder if a tennis bracelet is the right kind of bracelet for me. I want jewelry that is beautiful and can be worn everyday, without much worries.

I wonder if a tennis bracelet is a bit impractical to wear and may be more likely to get damaged, e.g. stones falling out or prongs becoming loose.

Any advice would be appreciated! :)

I think that WF or BGD can do something like that for you.

I second asking another vendor for some quotes. ID jewelers, WF, BGD or other PS vendors

HI:

I wore tennis bracelets for the better part of my jewellery wearing life--never lost a stone. I've seen this bracelet in IRL and it is stunning!

There are a few of T & C bracelets like this on the secondary market--with Estate dealers. Some have their T & C valuation papers and some do not.

cheers--Sharon

I have one that I just got from IDJ. It is a dead ringer for Tiffany's Jazz tennis bracelet but with a bigger ctw and half the cost. The diamonds are probably as good or even better than what Tiffany uses. I wear it 24/7 and find it very comfortable and I don't worry about the prongs catching on anything. It has 42 10 pters, 7.5" and 14k wg. From a distance, because all you see is the sparkle, it looks like it is made with 20 pters. I bet that they could source a similar clasp for you.
I do need to take some real life better photos.

Moniemarie, that is stunning bracelet from IDJ

Thanks for all your answers!

Do you think that, in general, tennis bracelets are very durable? Do the prongs get easily caught on clothes? I'm really looking for an everyday bracelet without too much hassle so I wonder if this is the right one...

Many years ago I had a prong set tennis bracelet. I found that the prongs did catch on my clothes. I was living in Chicago and wore a lot of sweaters....burrr. My bezel is a dream, very smooth. The tables are still exposed but I'm not sliding on concrete so I don't let it worry me. Like I said before, with the thin bezel that IDJ used, the diamonds look a lot larger.

The tiffany bracelet is beautiful. I love it... but I would think that a bezel style would be more suitable for daily wear if you're more active. Also, be sure to get insurance!

Unfortunately, I don't love bezel settings as much :( Would rather have a one like the Tiffany's. However, the pricetag of the Tiffany bracelet is hard to swallow.

I know I could get such a bracelet custom-made but I wonder if you know any reputable jewellers who already sell these bracelets?

Have you looked at the Whiteflash 3 prong bracelet? To me, it has a similar look to the Tiffany Victoria, just without the marquise diamonds on the clasp.

I am in the process of exchanging my 3 prong bracelet for a custom size. The one I had did not snag on clothing and was very well made. I had no worries of diamonds falling out.

I do not think a bracelet is impractical at all. I love them. I wear a bracelet every day and have no problems. I was previously a bookkeeper and wore a bracelet on my right wrist while using an adding machine consistently during the day.

Hope you find one you like.

Yes, I have checked out that tennis bracelet, but I would rather have something with a marquise diamond clasp. It makes it much more special to me.

I wonder if it's possible to wear a tennis bracelet quite tightly? I hate loose bracelets on me!
My wrist measures around 5.5 and I would like the bracelet to be around 6.1.

Is this too tight? Will this strain the links of the bracelet?

I would think that as long as you could get one finger between you and the bracelet it should be fine. Call Whiteflash and have them source the clasp you want. If they can not find one, I'm sure they can do a custom clasp. The rep I used when I was getting quotes on mine was Sheerah. She was very helpful.
