! Such a stunning set!.

A few questions for you:
Can you take more pictures of the detailing on the shank?
Do your 2 bands sit flush against the ring?
Are the sidestones bead set or pave or something else?

AGAIN - GORGEOUS!!!

What a gorgeous ring! Who made the setting? It is absolutely perfect for your cushion!

Hi Diamondseeker,

Okay long story.....I went thru a few different people before I found this lady. I have a good friend that has a good friend that use to make jewelry.... Now that she has a family and the hours are very long she does not make jewlery anymore. Well since I knew her good friend and we met each other a few times, she designed and made my ring for me as a favor... Trust me, it's very rare that I get this lucky. Actually, I thought she was going to have someone else make the ring, I just found out that she made it.

Hi Scarlet16,

You sound like your a little overwhelmed

I know it can be hard to try and find/make the perfect ring...

First, I suggest you find the cushion you want and purchase it. I believe I saw your thread on a cushion you have on hold? After you have your stone, you need to design a setting that will compliment the stone... Cushions- cuts, ratios and size have a huge range- For example: Boston_Jeff''s cushion looks like a modern cushion and thats why it looks good in a modern setting, and I believe CrookedRock''s planned setting (by Leon) is going to have a halo and split shank w/ pave all around... If you look at CrookedRock''s stone and imagine it in it''s future setting, I really think it''s going to look amazing. My point, even though both those settings are fabulous it may have not have looked as good on my cushion... Let your cushion speak to you

They really are all different.... Does this make sense?

I will try to get more pics up soon.

My other bands sit flush on each other but not with my cushion ring. I love stacking and I love a little gap.

I have no idea on what my side stones would be classified under, I was just presented a drawing of this ring with small diamonds on the side and I said " go for it".

Hope this helps... Keep us posted on your ring hunt.

Awesome!!!

You''ve given me some ideas......Beautiful set, really.

That is a stunning ring! I love it! And what a sweet story (all except the neti pot and I don''t even know what that is... and please don''t ''splain it lol).

some more handshots... so for the ladies who were curious about how all the rings sit together... These pics really show the chunky facets and gives away the stones age, I believe the stone is circa 1913. Also the light varies in each photo. Wish I could capture the rings beauty/full potential in pics... Just can't. Enjoy anyway

Thanks Iheartdiamonds. Maybe I will just wear the stone in a temp setting for a little while and let it "speak" to me before I decide what I really want. I just keep seeing all these GORGEOUS settings and am so anxious!

Love, love the chunky facets. Look at the finger coverage! Your ring is to die for!!!

Congratulations!!! What a wonderful and clever story and such a beautiful ring!!! I just love the chunky facets on your cushion and the gorgeous setting you chose. I especially love the buttercup head!

Your ring just jumped to the top of my favorite vintage cushion ring list. It''s just amazing. I really and truly love it.
