I just started looking around for a wedding band. My e ring is from the 1920s. It''s a .65 old european cut diamond with by two baguettes on either side that total about .30 and two tiny round diamonds next to the baguettes totalling .5. I''d like a wedding band that I can wear with my ring even if it doesn''t sit totally flush. I also would like to be able to wear it alone. My ring is platinum so I guess the band will have to be platinum too so that one doesn''t damage the other. I want a ring with diamonds and am thinking they will probably have to be around the size of my smaller diamonds so maybe about .3. I''m not sure if I should just try to buy vintage or get a reproduction type ring made. Does anyone have ideas for me, and what did people here do to match their vintage rings with bands if they had vintage rings?

This is white gold, but something like this? This one is from http://www.wannabuyawatch.com/indpages/25913.html

Thanks Hest and Reena for posting photos. Hest, I love the second one. I had totally forgotten about that web site, it''s a great place photos. Reena I really like the idea of tiny diamonds going all the way around at first I was thinking of just half way around. I''m probably going to have to go to a jewelry store and try a few things on with my ring to get an idea of what general type of designs will work.

p.s. what site were those from?
