Hi!
Are you totally sure those are FW?
I would have guessed akoya, just from the one photo!

Honestly, she can’t remember and I have no idea since it’s so old. She has it for over 30 years. Let me try to post a few more photos and tell me what you think.

I can't tell anything more TBH, sorry Buttercookies. I don't suppose that for this pricepoint it actually matters all that much - my gut said akoya and still does but I fully admit I have no actual idea. I think listing as FW makes a lot of sense since you aren't sure :))

How about adding to the listing wordings in the line of, "... listing as Freshwater, however, they have not been tested to confirm."

I too suspect they are Akoyas for their shapes, as early CFWPs were more likely to be rice/potato shapes than round ones.

Bargain for the set a 180 USD in my book, with diamonds and in 14K gold!!!

Dust for quick sale.

DK :))

Thanks DK!

Yes I made a few errors too. It’s in 18kt not 14kt. Lol.

A bargain for possible Akoya set in 18kt!!!!

Any ability to sell the earrings alone? If not I’d be interested in the set, I just won’t wear the necklace and would love to see it go to someone who would.

Hi @sprinklesparkles. She apologizes but she can’t separate them. It’s much harder to sell them if they are not a set. Hope you understand.

Is the earring with the screw back or push back ?

So. This set is indeed Akoya. I had taken it to a jeweler yesterday.

Also bought new 18kt push backs at the jeweler.

THIS IS A BARGAIN FOR AKOYA SET 18KT with NEW 18KT PUSH BACKS. Need Christmas present? :D

Sold! Thank you!
