Vintage Rosecut diamond price - is it too high?

Hi All,

I fell somewhat in love with a Kwiat vintage diamond and ruby band, and hope you could share your feedback on the price with me...

It is a 18k band with 2 movable "half side bands" (does it make sense?). In another word the 2 half-way side bands (attached) can either be worn with the rosecut diamond side, or the other half ruby side. The movable parts are tiny RB cut diamonds. Total diamond weight (including rosecut and RB cut) are 1.17ct (G-H, VS1-2), and total ruby weight is 1.13ct.

Their best price is $5409 all inclusive. The price sounds deep to me but since I am not familiar with the market on vintage style jewelry, I though maybe you all can help me decide by sharing your thoughts?

Hi there! I''m not really able to imagine what kind if ring you are talking about but I just had a half eternity ring made by Jewels By Erica Grace and it features .15pt each rose cut diamonds and .15pt each rose cut amethysts in white gold and was around $600.

I know your design sounds a lot more involved and intricate but they do custom work and specialize in antique style jewelry so maybe you could contact them for a reproduction quote? That''s where I would start.

Asscherhalo - did you have a ring made like that rose cut diamond and sapp band w/ the satin finish? do you have pics? I''ve been eyeing that band for so long and wanted to have something similar made.
