I am looking at a rock, 2.06ct GIA vs2 h, excellent in cut,polish, sym, hca score 1.1 by % 1.5 by angel.
It seems to have all the right spots, right?
Should I stop here and pay ?

can you post more details? the GIA/AGS report? do you have a pic?
HCA is an elimination tool, not selection - and the 1.1/1.5 is great, but that doesn't tell the whole story. Posting the report would help :))

Yep, the HCA is helpful but not sufficient to choose a diamond alone. Do you have a magnified image of the stone and an idealscope image? Those and the report would be helpful.

The ring is at a trust worth local shop, where i know them personally.
I wrote down the numbers from the gia report, and that is it.
It looks brilliant to my unaided eyes, and the numbers seem to be perfect, at least on the paper.
I am kind of stuck to make the next move...what else can I do...don't want to ask too much unless there is a good reason.
Maybe ask for a lounge next visit.

The number is
62
56
35.2
40.7

My current one is g vs2, is there any difference?

Are you asking if this is a good stone? Or are concerned that you're getting a good deal?

If you're asking about the stone, it's difficult to tell just from a few measurements. However, it wouldn't hurt to ask them for the GIA certificate number. Then you could post the pictures of the inclusions from http://www.gia.edu/reportcheck/ and ask for opinions here.

If you're asking about getting a good deal, perhaps you can list what price you are thinking of paying for it. I'm sure some more experienced folks around here could let you know if you're getting a good price.

I am not concern about the price. But will follow up with them on the report.

GIA doesn't give numbers like this, crown angle is rounded to the nearest half a degree and the pavilion angle is rounded to the nearest fifth of a degree.

You saw it in person, how did you feel about the H color then?
