I have two metal watches, nothing fancy - both Fossils...but recently they have started leaving black (grease? oil?) marks on my wrists. It''s a total pain in the @$$ and I don''t know how to get it to stop.
I''ve tried wiping them down with a dry cloth, a damp cloth..but they just still do it.

I don''t want to take them apart.
Any suggestions?
Should I just take them to a watch place and have them take it apart and clean it?

I would just take them to your jeweler and have them take off the bracelets and pop them in their US for you. The marks are from dirt and oil built up in between the links, it happens with my watches in the summer as well.

Ditto. Takes only a few minutes, and will look brand new. I have had that happen to me as well. Especially in the hotter months.

Thanks ladies!! I appreciate it.
