RG, stainless steel, WG are all fine. Diamonds would, of course, be appreciated. I'm open to face shapes, but I already have a tonneau.

It was a bit pricey at 5K though. could get a rolex for that. but boy was it stunning.

I tried this one at Tourneau and it was very dainty and feminine on the hand. They also had a version on display with diamonds on the bezel.

I have been watch hunting, too, Harriet! I wish we could go together! I''ve looked mostly at Ebel and Concord. It is just hard to decide looking at pictures, and there are no stores nearby with these brands. I did try on a Rolex the other day, but I coudn''t see $5000 for all stainless steel when you can get some that are 18k gold with diamonds for that price. But I really don''t want one that is too dressy. I need a nice looking everyday watch.

I think the omega is a great choice!I own and have sold Rolex and Omega watches...both quality and classic looks...but the omega is a smaller watch and great for every day wear...with or without diamonds.
 
Thanks! My watch has no numbers, so it is more a piece of jewellery than a timekeeper, which is fine by me.
