I know this seems to be a question that floats around PS many, many times but the answers are often different- yes, perfectly fine; no..it causes wear.

But if I wear a thin diamond band that is WG in between my platinum e-ring and platinum band, do I have anything to worry about?

I'm also left handed so that is my primary hand so it does get lots of movement and the rings do get bumped, hit, etc.

If the girdles of the diamonds extend over the edge of the band, then yes, they will chew the metal of the adjacent ring(s). If the diamonds are channel set or "within" the outside border of the band, such that only metal is rubbing, then you should be fine. (Long term, the gold may wear thinner, but not the platinum).

I don't see anything wrong with it. For years I wore a thin pink diamond rose gold band in between my platinum WF Harmony e-ring and the matching wedding band.
The only issue most people have with wear is when there are diamonds rubbing against the metal of the band next to it.
