Hi!

I''m about ready to get moving on the invites but I''m not sure how to phrase the wording on the website card.
I want people to look at it b/c it has lots of useful info, directions, hotel info, registries, etc..

Any thoughts on what exactly to say on the card? It''ll just be a little card stuck in w/the invite and rsvp card.

Thanks!

Dixie, I''ve never seen a website card enclosed in an invite! But I think it''s a fab idea...I was thinking you could word it like this:

Please visit www._______.com for hotel information and directions.

I don''t think it''s considered proper etiquette to include info about your registry within the actual wedding invitation, so I would leave that off the website card (but obviously not off the website, I don''t think there is anything wrong with that).

Ours says,

For more details, please visit our wedding website:

www.______.com

Monarch and Ebree, thanks for the suggestions! Monarch, I think you''re right about not including the registry info. I just hope people look at the website b/c it really does have everything. But I guess otherwise, they''ll just call us or our family. I''m trying not to worry too much about it.

Thanks again!

Dixie, we debated what to say on the website card too, but assumed it would be most useful for people needing driving directions or hotel information, so we ended up saying: "Please visit www.____.com for accomodations, driving directions and other information."

There is a picture of it here (4th post from the top): https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/pix-of-my-invitations.60038/ Hope that helps!

I''ll have to check the exact wording when I''m home, but ours says something like:

Please visit our wedding website for travel information, hotel accommodations and directions, plus an introduction to the happy couple, M and S!!!

http://blahblahblah.weddingsite

I put the "intro" part on there because a good portion of our guest list are my mom''s friends, who barely know me and have maybe met Matt once. I knew they wouldn''t care about directions or hotel because they are local, but figured they might want to go read about us before the wedding.

Hi Dixie~ We did one to but as an after thought. After assembling my invites I did NOT want to order the perfect paper and cut that perfect paper into perfect pieces so.........we ordered from vistaprint.com for free. Literally, we have 250 free business cards that say "For directions and hotel infomation, please visit our wedding website and www.xxxxxx.com."

It doesn''t even match our invitation''s color scheme but it does have a wedding cake on it and after you get done doing your own invites you may not care about that part either

They are very cute, get the point across, and you can''t beat FREE (oh, and not having to have to cut another piece of paper ever so perfectly aarrrtgggghhhh).
