Wedding band dilemma

I need help and opinions regarding my wedding band. My fiance and I have decided that we want a platinum with diamond wedding band. So far, we have narrowed down to Tiffany''''s platinum Etoile band vs Cartier''''s platinum with 1 diamond or 3 diamonds band. My questions:
1. If you have to choose, which one and why?
2. Which one has the best quality?

I have the etoile in yellow gold and went to Cartier to see their one/three stone band. In terms of weight and heft, the Tiffany''s ring had it all over the Cartier one. That may or may not be important to you; you would probably have to see them both yourself to determine what factors are most important to you. In terms of the metal and diamonds, I''d venture a guess that they are probably on par with one another. The etoile band is just much thicker and heavier than the Cartier ones.

do you want a thinner or thicker look? I love the etoile, but I wanted a thin wedding band.

What does you ering look like? and do you want to wear them together?

@MissGotRocks : I have seen the etoile ring in person and love it! I haven''t got the chance to go to Cartier''s to compare it. So, you have tried the Cartier''s bands and found them thinner and lighter, I think I might just go with Tifffany''s.
Somehow I was given impression that Cartier''s platinum and diamonds are better than Tiffany''s. I could be wrong!!!
What do you think about Cartier''s Love ring? would it be too contemporer for wedding band?

@Bella Mezzo : I would go for the medium width band, not too thin nor too thick. My fiance more likely would wear it without the e-ring.

If she''s wearing it alone then I''d get the Tiffany etoile, though the bezet is nice too.

is the brand name important? I would get the whiteflash 3mm setting in platinum if it''s not....
