I''m trying to decide on a wedding gift for my fiancee, and I think I''ve narrowed it down to two options:

http://www.whiteflash.com/fine-jewelry/diamond_studs/single-shared-prong-diamond-eternity-hoops_1275.htm#

http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/home/ring-details/?product_id=5469

She has had studs before, but lost them about a year ago. She''s never had diamond hoops before, but recently talked about wanting some. Anyway, I guess it really comes down to a matter of preference/taste, but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? I really appreciate the help! (And want to thank everyone again for the help with the engagement ring, which she and everyone she shows it to love).

I vote for the hoops, hands down! She''s just spoken of wanting some, and the ones you''ve picked out are high-quality classics. I''m a lot less in love with the studs - a halo at .5 ctw seems a little busy to me, somehow.

Between those two choices, I would go for the hoops, especially since your fi mentioned wanting some.

Thanks Circe and vespergirl. And for those who recommend the hoops, are there other hoop options out there that you might recommend over Whiteflash''s offering?

Hi nola82, if your fiance mentioned hoops she may have been trying to send you a hint so you may want to go that route.

I actually just bought the BGD studs that you posted and love them. Here is the link to my thread with pics. They actually don''t look busy at all and are very beautiful and sparkly. Great price with a big look! Just something to consider!

Either way, I am sure she will love what you choose!

Hello

I like both your options but as she mentioned hoops, stick with hoops.

As a wife of almost 13 years, just note this. Regardless of which ones you do choose, she will love them. Then you will have to buy her the others later on!!! lol

( I have both studs and hoops, what''s next? he he )

If she''s requesting hoops, then go for those!

Ahem, when a woman "casually" talks about jewelry desires there''s usually nothing casual about it.

She mentioned hoops, go with those. I like those WF hoops. They don''t look like they''re *too* big for every day wear.

Just to add my vote on top of the unanimous poll but I''m all for the hoops.

+1

I haven''t been looking at a lot of hoops lately for myself so I don''t know what is out there. But I do think the pair you picked are very lovely!

Could not agree more with Hest. Plus, the hoops are hot. I''d go with those.

I''d get the hoops now (and I love the WF ones) you can get her studs for your first anniversary

The hoops are pretty! ..and you can tell she wants them!

She mentioned hoops so that is what I think you should get. They are very pretty.
