Well Everyone,

Even though I have not been on this site too long...I did however ask plenty of questions and was helped and coached by many of you that really know more than I truly will ever know... I want to thank you all for your help and also wanted to share my final choice of purchase...now on to the setting..!

Very nice! What kind of setting are you looking at?

Well...For the setting I was going to go for a straight up simplistic Solitaire such as this:

http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/details.php?image_id=350

or this:

http://www.michaelcfina.com/engagement-wedding-rings/engagement-rings/mark-patterson-platinum-plain-ring-mounting-R827P.html

What do we think?

I am unsure of the LEON MEGE because I cannot see the specific side view of it like I can the Mark Patterson.

As a second thought, I also wouldn't mind a nice pave halo but needs to have a simplistic shank like the Mark Patterson Solitaire and swooping lines to the bottom of the halo instead of a airplane straght up type of line to the halo like I have normally seen? ANY SUGGESTIONS ON ONE LIKE I DESCRIBE HERE?

Any thoughts would be super!

Thanks Again,

Erik

congrats! that will be a gorgeous ring:-)

This is one of my favourite simple solitaires. A PSer designed it, try a search on "Sierra" and you will find it. I always recommend having the diamond set by the person who sells it since they will take responsibilty for damage during the setting process whereas another vendor will not. And this matters when a diamond is as yet un set, like yours, and insurance is harder to obtain (though not impossibel).

Congratulations.
