I got a men's because I'm really short and I wanted something longer than the women's version (hip length), but not as long as a car coat.

Where are you that it gets so cold? We're in Central Minnesota and right now the temperatures are right around zero at night and 10 or so during the day (but with -5 to -10 windchills), and in Jan, Fed it's generally right around -20 (actual temp) during the day and -40 during the night. We had like -70 to -80 below windchills at night last year! BBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

My friend got a pair of flats that were originally $50 on sale for $6 after tax!

They are having a sale--40% off EVERYTHING that''s already discounted. From what I could tell, that was just about half of the store...

Laurel...I like your jacket, I have a few short ones, but spend alot of time in arena''s (hockey) and needed a long VERY warm one too. I live in Canada (near Toronto), and we have had record breaking amounts of snow. It''s AWESOME..the kids are hyped..sliding, skiing, and outdoor skating already. It''s a winter wonderland here..my best friend in California will be jealous (obviosly they get no snow for Christmas..BUMMER!!)

Yesterday I was at Banana Republic and they had a 40% off sale (but yesterday only); I got my dad a winter coat for $140 instead of $230. I looked around for somethings for me but there wasn't anything I couldn't live without. I want sunglasses so if anyone knows of a place with good deals on sunglasses please let me know, tia!! hmmm, maybe I will go check out the Loft when I got to WF's.

I didn''t have any of the hard-core scripts like some people did, but my developer at work came up with a way to use the eBay developer database to look for listings that sent back a small amount of info vs the huge amount of info it takes to display a whole webpage. So I was able to get two refreshes a second vs one refresh every two seconds like you would if you were manually refreshing.

OMG AG - that is AMAZING. I think it might be time to get rid of our rear-projection 56-incher (which is too big anyway

Ebay. But it's an advertisement, not a "store" so you need to search the web, not the store listings (you can change where you search at the top right next to where it says CASHBACK RESULTS, just click WEB and then ebay should be in the gray box at the top as an ad. If not, just try searching for some other keyword and eventually it will come up). And it's only at 8% right now which stinks!

And there are a number of rules, it has to be a BIN, they have to allow you to use ebay/paypal checkout (so no auctiva listings) and you have to click through that advertisement to get to ebay, but once you are there you can search for whatever you want. And there is a $200 cashback limit for each transaction.

Neiman Marcus had a big private sale a couple of weeks (maybe a month) ago and I snagged a pair of Burberry Snow boots for $240... I think they were $395 originally and a Marc Jacobs bag for $109 (I don''t remember what it was originally I think in the 200 range). Also snagged the most GORGEOUS fendi bag for $500, it was originally $850.

At the Gucci outlet I got 2 wool silk scarves in black and baby blue for $99 a piece, I believe they were in the $250 range originally, I also bought a purse for $885 that retails in the +$1200 range.
And at Loehmann''s I got the coolest Micheal Kors leather bomber jacket with fur collar for $160, orignally +$400!!

I love a deal!!
