What are you wearing today?! Show me your CS!

I love that filigree opal bracelet, catmom!

Thank you Bluegemz! It is a vintage piece I just picked up. The detail work is amazing.

Filigree is just such a mini world in itself because of the detail! I’m glad there is hand made, filigree appreciation amongst others too. The opals are gorgeous too! Great piece!

I do enjoy the dash of purple! Did you buy the ring as-is, or set the amethyst? How large is that amethyst?

It was a pawn shop find. How large is it? I dunno, it's huge, I'd have to take out a tape measure. :lol-2: And congratulations on your engagement!!

Stunning color on those opals. :kiss2: I love the necklace especially.
Thanks voce!!

It has such panache sitting bold and proud on your finger! Simply dashing :)

Thanks :geek2:

I was asking about your amethyst because I should be getting a huge one of my own. I bought it off Ebay and will have to decide how to set it. Maybe I should've looked in pawn shops first. :mrgreen2:

Mine is pretty tiny compared to most on this thread and it's in dire need of some repairs but I couldn't resist wearing it today. We are thinking it's some sort of reproduction but nobody knows. We do know its 18k gold. Sorry for my terrible pictures. My S8 just cannot stop giving everything that melty metal look.

That setting is really pretty with the filigree :-) The stone appears to be black is it an onyx or a black diamond? If you don't know the jeweler should be able to tell you whenever you take it in for repairs,

It is pretty. I love this ring :D it's actually a very dark red stone. My uncle told me when he gave it to me that it's a ruby but it looks more like a garnet to me because of how dark red it is. Someday I would like to replace it with something light blue or maybe white. But for now I'll probably just save to reshank it and get these prongs retipped xD

That looks like a red garnet. It's a really pretty ring. Garnets have a lot of history, and were worn by medieval royalty. I think it looks beautiful in the ring :)

Ooh that's interesting information. I didn't know they wore that particular stone. I agree with you though on thinking its garnet. I love them alot so it will definitely be staying in there for awhile lol

Still haven't gotten over how much I love this ring!

It’s gorgeous! That’s great finger coverage too. I was wondering why you were wearing a coat in this heat and then I remembered, you are in Australia.

I've had this green tourmaline for over 10 years and FINALLY got it set. Having a hard time really picking up the green on my phone camera.

Oh wow! That setting is TDF! The green tourmaline is such a pretty shade of green. That’s just lovely!

This is my first tourmaline, I bought it from Lisa Elser many years ago. SmartSelect_20180626-142250_Instagram.jpg
Is that a rubellite? It looks great with the side stones. What size is the beautiful center tourmaline?

I really love your pieces, Arkteia. They are very substantial with great presence, flair and often rich colours. They remind me a different era where everything was so much richer, cultural and classier.

What a beautiful setting! I love the elongated halo and how you used the little emerald cuts to showcase the tourmaline. Unusual and gorgeous.

Ooooo I love the setting!

I just can't get over this beauty! Drool.
Thank you, @elle_71125. I was in San Francisco for a few hours and immediately understood what we were missing in Seattle. The glow of the stones in the sun reveals a tad of fluorescence. We don't have such sun here.

Thank you for your kind words.

Seaglow you're definitely feeling the Maldivan blues! Arketia what a yummy red stone! I couldn't figure out the type. Meowmeow your ring is so lovely with the delicate Tracery. Thanks to all who share. I'm wearing a band from enviro with an emerald to honor my moms memory. My sisters and nieces all received same. The enamel orange band in silver with teensy diamonds. Go Vols!!
