I've been ogling this Platinum 6.45ct Blue Sapphire (no heat) ring for a while now... so velvety blue with icy half-moon sides ... I love it ... at $44k it is just a bit out of budget though.

These are lovely rings! I am actually trying desperately to buy this ring from a coworker. He bought it at a local pawnshop for $1900 and it is a gorgeous sapphire that is in such an ugly setting. I had it looked at by DK and he says this is truly an amazing sapphire and .25-.30ct each OEC diamonds. If I can ever talk him into selling it to me since he never wears it, I will take it apart for sure and make an eternity of the diamonds and some kind of 3 stone with that sapphire. Not sure of the sapphire weight 2-3cts maybe. It is an older stone.
