What clarity and colour for the setting?

Attached is the setting I'm going to have made and am wondering what Colour and Clarity stones would work with the center stone? Ring size will be 6.5 and will get the band 2 mm thick, I like it a little slimmer.

It is not recommended to go below 2mm for a pave setting, though many do it for style. Anyway, I would not do it on a 6.5 ring size. For an F center two colors in either direction would be totally fine.

What about the clarity? And does cut really matter when the stones are so tiny?

for side stones, what is your manufacturer recommending or providing??? VS would be perfect but in that size, SI would be fine.

I'm working with WF on the setting, they're looking into different options for me...

In addition to my original posted setting above... another option I'm looking into is a slightly modified version of the: "Whiteflash Signature Design, the “Flush-Fit” Diamond Engagement Ring displays a dazzling selection of 12 A CUT ABOVE® Hearts and Arrows Diamond Melee (0.27ctw; F/G VS)" ...I would have the 2 "surprise" side stones removed, not a huge fan of these.
