What do you do with your dress?

I donated mine to a charity that sells the second hand and gives the money to breast cancer research. When I gave it to them, I was allowed to write a note to the bride who bought it and I did, telling her about how I wore it on the best day of my life and it has only goof memories and she should wear it to create her own great memories too. I included a photo of us on our wedding day too.

Mine's hanging in the guest room closet and I like to look at it every now and then. I actually haven't put it on since the wedding, but I do admire it! I never got it cleaned after the wedding...it didn't really get dirty but I probably should, I suppose. I don't want to get it preserved though because I want to be able to look at it and try it on whenever I want.

Oh and I plan to keep it forever and not do anything to it. It's too special to me to sell/donate.

I actually tried on mine just yesterday (I do so every couple of years around my wedding anniversary time) and walk around the house for a bit. I love wearing it!! Thank goodness I still fit!!

I donated mine to goodwill. It was a nice write off for us and I like to think that some lucky bride on a budget was able to snatch up my beautiful dress
