My other question was....do you think that it's possible to make the diamonds 'dangle' in a leverback like this picture? I was thinking maybe basket set or bezel set. ----------------

These--by Leon Mege--are my absolute favorite diamond earings of all time...they sit just below the ear lobe....I am seriously thinking of changing my stud wish to this style of setting. They have the simplicity and everyday elegance of a stud with that little something special extra.

Lucky...yes it's hard not to drool over everyone elses items either.![]()
Take for example this beautiful piece I found last nite..only $488...really yummy. Not exactly my taste normally, I don't know where I'd ever wear it but it's stunning. Hmmm maybe the 'diamond fund' should be modified to simply 'jewelry fund'.![]()

Icelady - I found them at Mondera. I have diamonds (2 - .25ct) that I am thinking of setting. I have the martini settings for the studs and I thought this would be a nice way to use the other set of diamonds. Ya know - studs for jeans, white cotton shirt, boots and the top down on a spring day... and let's not leave out the leverbacks ...semi-casual dinner - short skirt..snug sweater - need I say more. Which one of us here couldn't justify having more diamonds...and clothers...![]()

Michelle,
I was lusting after that same necklace, and I found an ebay seller selling them for much less--I forget the name, but search ebay's jewelry section for 'peridot festoon necklace' or 'moonstone festoon necklace'--they make them in different stones. Amethyst, too, and onyx; possibly some others as well. I don't know how good that seller is, of course, since I never bought anything from them, but I seem to recall that they had good feedback. And Faye Cullen is pretty pricy in general.----------------
