Here it is I have finally bought a ring

Just out of curiosity what do you think of it?

It's a cushion heated padparadscha (I think it's more orange and you?) 1.23 carat.

I believe if there is window it's very small depending of the angle.

And yeah some purple zoning but it's fine for me.

Price was around 1250$ for it.

Do you think it was fair with previous information ?

Here are the photos and videos to complete this

Thank you :mrgreen2:

Based on the first picture, i woul say it is more orange than pad no ? Do you have a lab report ?

Edit : it looks bicolor with orange and a touch of pink on the bottom.

As I understand it, Pads can only have pink and orange. Any other color cancels out the Pad designation.

Indeed I also think it's more Orange than Pad too. I asked for a GIA report.

On the videos I still see some mix of orange and pink what do you think?

Yes with purple color zoning from what I've read here it's not Pad and it's clearly on the orange range

$1250 is not too much overpriced for this Orange sapphire then?

It still weird that people are calling Pad what is not, personally I wanted orange but imagine someone who truly wanted Pad...

I'd say price is about as expected as for a stone from the NSC - they're a bit on the high side, but I've read many positive experiences with their customer service, and that costs, too. Do you have it yet, or are these videos from the vendor? I hope it looks just as nice in person.

Obviously, it's not a pad-pad, but you already knew that. If it was an actual pad, it would've had a different price tag. And you were looking for an orange sapphire to begin with, so all seems to work out.

Thank you for the clear answer =)2.
I'm waiting for it to be ID certified by GIA and it should be ready from production and delivered home in December

I personally love this stone because I am crazy for zoning (others don’t like it - YMMV). I have no clue about price - but very interested to hear what GIA says!

I think it's very pretty. I'm also a fan of the zoning it's like a little birthmark/fingerprint that belongs only to your stone. It will make lovely three stone. I can't wait to see some pictures.

Thank you, indeed will post about it

Yes you're right it's also why here I wanted this stone because the zoning is cute and it will be uniq for a special ring. I hope it will be nice in real now.

Let see that in December for the result

A beautiful stone with more orange than padparadscha. However, technically, it could still be considered a padparadscha because it contains pink, but at the same time, it is more orangey.

Not going to lie, I'm super jealous. I'd love to find a stone like that w zoning

Agree! It’s an intensely beautiful color scheme.

Thank you, you are so supportive :kiss2:.

I was lucky enough to find this stone, I felt like it was "the stone for us" after all these months searching and having bad experience with my previous jeweler.

I'm not sad about the color designation it's true, but I feel it's stupid to design a wrong color just because it's trending, to make the price higher

How are you planning to set the stone?

I think it’s lovely!

Yay, I hopped on at the right time! 847640

It's beautiful and I'm excited that we can still clearly see the 'fingerprint' of the color zoning after mounting making it utterly unique to her. Special.
They did a lovely job. Please come back with some lovely hand shots after you give it to her. We love pictures.

Early congratulations to you both!

Vibrant and juicy looking, just like a colored gem should look. PLease report back with her reaction!

Looks wonderful! The shapes/orientations play very well together and I love the color, esp with the rose (?) gold!

Congrats! I look forward to seeing it on their hand.

It's veeeeery pretty! The pink is much more prominent in movement, which adds to the depth of colour. It looks like a fiery sunset! Such a stone is definitely on my wishlist for one day in the future.

This is absolutely gorgeous, what a beautiful stone!

Thanks, exactly, even after being mounted the light continue to pass very well and the zoning is clearly the bonus on this stone and even ring.
I know that the company where I bought is not listed here as recommended but I have to say, they are really professional, and for the price I paid, all taxes included, it's a fair price, I am truly happy for everything. I will take them and post here.

I love it so much!!! I want one lol.
Thanks, I hope you will find one like this.

Wow! That is super pretty! Congrats!
Thank you, with my partner we were really intrigued with this setup (orange sapphire and 3 stones), and now with the pink/purple zoning part, it's like cherry on the cake.

Thank you, here I'm glad we on the colored gem side, for us it's much more complex than just diamond (any size).

She is really happy of the ring, and understand that even if the path to have this ring was not easy (you can check my other thread on this forum), it was worth it.

Thanks, yes you are right, it's the identity of this ring. And yes it's rose gold, we can think it's yellow but it's rose, if we put yellow gold side by side with this rose gold, we can definitely see the difference.

Congrats! I look forward to seeing it on their hand.
Thanks, we will post them once my partner has her hands ready for photo and video.

Thanks, I'm glad you love it the way we are, and hope you will find one like this too. Zoning is indeed so interesting when it's a good zoning.

This is absolutely gorgeous, what a beautiful stone!
Thank you very much, here when I saw the stone online I was thinking it's the one, and now it's a reality it's a wonderful surprise and confirmation it's the one

I Promise will post on the next week with photo / video of the ring on my partner's hand.

Thanks again for all your nice messages, I appreciate it. And I'm glad to share it with you

Oh that is beautiful! Perfect proportions! Congratulations! It is gorgeous!!!!! You did so well!!!
