a 3ct. ''l'' would not be my cup of tea, but we''re not talking about my cup of tea... you have to decide for yourself if you mind seeing color in the stone because you WILL see color.
I agree with Belle - I have a large round L but in an Asscher, unless you like a definite tint, be cautious, especially in such a large diamond. The MB fluoresence might make it face up better and it still could be a lovely diamond, but it probably won't look white. As you are seeing it tonight, check it out in as many different lights as possible, jewellers lights will make it look whiter than it is possibly, they can look very different once you get them home in daylight!
yeah what has me worried...i love all the other specs but the L color is not so hot. if it was like "I" color then i think it would be great, but "L" is like that borderline between not really white and not fancy color either.
ehhh who knows...i am keeping my fingers crossed that maybe it looks white enough for my personal taste
ok another question then, obviously the stones "look" different under different lighting conditions. since this is not a brilliance cut like princess, what lighting would show me the most true way the stone would look?
i know the halogen lights at the store will make it shine more, but will taking it out in daylight make it look better? or just some plain flourescence indoor lighting?
