what do you think of this ring?

Hi Sweet_Pea - I think the ring is lovely. I would only worry that the amethyst would be soft for every day wear and might get chipped?

It's a beautiful style, it looks well-made, and it certainly got glowing reviews!

Dragonfly - I've had amethyst rings that I've worn a lot, and surface chipping etc. was never a problem. One of my stones did fracture when I dropped it on a tile floor - that was a problem, but I suspect that kind of fall might have damaged any stone. Amethyst is of course softer than diamond and you might see wear over a long time. But - unless you're very hard on your jewelry, the stone should look great for many years.

I think the design is lovely!

VRBeauty - Good to know! I just knew they were a softer stone than diamonds. I've never owned an amethyst in a ring, only in necklace.

Very pretty ring! I would love to own it. Run to buy it! Great price.

It's a very pretty ring at a great price! I have a similarly sized ring from David Yurman with a blue topaz that I wear as a right hand ring. Because it has such a low profile it is actually more comfortable to wear than my wedding set because it doesn't get caught on anything. Even if you don't wear it every day I think it is a lovely piece and I would go for it!

I really like it!!
