I have a couple of options, so I think that says I'm super spoiled.

The first says I love all things vintage and sparkly from all angles. It's a repro setting with an antique OEC that's a tiny bit wonky, yet still fiery and sparkly. I think it says I march to my own tune and appreciate diamond cutting as an art prior to technology. It also reflects my belief that marriage and communication are an art, that true commitment lasts forever and also my desire to make something wonderful out of two imperfect people.

The second is an AVR in a modern, yet classic setting. This one is all about science, angles and perfection. It's not a D colored hearts and arrows so I think it's still going against the grain somewhat. I'm over half a century old and this ring, like me, acknowledges and appreciates the lessons of the past, while embracing the here and now.

Love this thread!

Mine says although I am pretty traditional, I like to be a bit unique. My diamond is a FCD, fancy light grayish greenish yellow (shown with my D color band for contrast). The platinum set my husband picked out all by himself, so I carry a bit of him with me. I love the crown like setting because, well, I'm the Queen Bee! :lol:Screenshot_20180813-123443_Gallery.jpg20180813_123738.jpg

I had 4 different 'engagement rings' in our first 10 years of marriage. Then 6 more in the last 10, plus multiple colored stone or right hand rings.

I think it says either I have no sentimentality whatsoever, or I have a failure to commit.

And I don't feel like I've ever had my ideal engagement ring.

It's possible I'm just a perfectionist. Or maybe neurotic. Definitely one of those.

My current (non)ering says I Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Man!

(Well... except for David Klass! )

Mine is kind of perfect for me. It's a classic (or boring, depending on how you look at it) 6-prong Tiffany style solitaire. I'm one of those people that loves modern, simple, clean lines one day and then something more vintage another day. My ring can be both modern and vintage, so it's SO me. My wife calls me a chameleon, because I can look so different every day depending on how I do my hair, what I do with my makeup, what I wear, etc. My ring just always...goes....

The size of my three stone is not huge but a little above average and with the warmth of my stone IMO my ring says I have classic elegant style with a hint of bling chic;-)

Years post-marriage, had my 2ct round reset in a halo; its too pretty to just sit in a box! I wear it as a right hand ring.
Nowadays I dress mostly in yoga pants or sweats; I imagine most folks I interact with daily think it’s costume. Fine with me...

I feel like mine both say that I'm lucky, creative, feminine, unique, and probably love flowers. I feel like they give off a kind, approachable, and good listener type of vibe.

I’m the same way! I figure that as long as I stay committed to the same man, I can fool around with other rings. :lol-2:

My new to me OEC (1 week anniversary today!) says I like them big, bold and Bubbulahlicious. :sun:
You decide...do I lie?

Exactly. Rings come and go but good men (and women) are true love forever.

I think my ring reflects my classic and vintage taste. I like to mix it up with different bands for more bling..and going outside the box.
