My DH just brought home a bouquet of flowers!

He and I have been dealing with family issues lately (he's actually more upset than me, he's a huge softie) but he brought them home to make me feel better. He's the best!

I spent the weekend in incredibly gorgeous weather.
I ran around outdoors in that weather all day Monday, indulging in the photography I love so much.

I finally got to snuggle and play with Julian and to admire up close what a great job his mama's doing! He was absolutely worth the wait, and I can't wait to see him again.

My husband sent the sweetest note I've ever gotten from him - better than any card he could buy.

My dog was happy to see me when I came home - everyone should get that kind of greeting in life. Nothing better.

I'm excited to be meeting two dear friends for a girls night out; I've looked so forward to it all week.

Knowing that next week, I'll finally get to spend some time with a really close friend I've not been able to see for a while.

I was able to resolve a case very favorably for a very sweet client, who promised me one of his lovely paintings as a thank-you gift.

Our wedding orchid (one of the centerpieces from our reception) is in full bloom after not blooming at all for about a year.

My husband, a.k.a. the Candy Police, is out of town for the weekend, so I went to the store and bought all kinds of Christmas candy with no disparaging remarks from him. I always miss him so much when he's out of town, but these sorts of things make me feel a little better .

My husband told me that a dear friend of ours who's seeing another dear friend for some years now, has decided to propose to her, but they're on an extremely tight budget and when they went out to look for rings, she told him that she'd be satisfied with a $400 diamond band, which was made of the worst quality diamonds that you can imagine. I felt that she really deserves better than that...A few days ago i got my new half eternity band to wear as a set with my ER. Before, i was wearing another half eternity band which has seven diamonds, 0.94tcw, G color, VS1 clarity, set on an 18ct white gold setting. When i posted at the SMTB forum i asked the other PSers what they thought i should do with this ring now that i have the new one...Well, it seems that some things have a way of working themselves out without much effort from our part...I decided to offer the ring to our friends as a gift, so that they can use it for their engagement...I'm looking forward to seeing it on that sweet girl's finger!!! I am very excited for them and this decision of mine made me feel so extremely happy...it didn't make my week, it made my...month!!!

My doctor told me that my heart is now beating on its own over 70% of the time only relying on my pacemaker less than 30%. Earlier in the year I was 100% dependent on the pacemaker. He and I are hopeful that my heart will recover 100%.

I have to add to mine. Last night I had really yummy okra and mac and cheese at a local restaurant. I had a really great dinner with one of my close friends. We went back to her house after to watch Grey's... she is the one I dog sat for.... and the dogs were SO EXCITED to see me again (Allison hehe). I found the perfect Christmas presents for my mom, my sister, and my dad, which eliminates about half of my Christmas shopping. My friend HAD HER BABY! She is 21 inches and 8lb 7 oz. She has a full head of dark hair and looks exactly like her daddy. Last but not least, hunting this weekend, and I finally will be carrying a gun.

I realised how many friends I have and how much I appreciate them. It sometimes happens where you forget how special people are.

3 things and they are sort pathethic... I need a life!


1. I was at Walmart getting little homegoodies and this black man was always kind of following me where ever i was going from a distance ... I noticed that but I didn't really care, was too engulfed in my own thoughts of what I needed to get... Then I came out of an aisle and here he was!... : " Miss, I am sorry - you probably thought I was stalking you - I was a little bit, *he smiled* but I had to come and tell you that YOUR HAIRSTYLE AND COLOR ARE AMAZIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!! " ---> That made me grin from ear to ear with happiness!!!

2. A Phoenix Radio station called me to set-up an interview for my Christmas CD. I asked them how they heard of me (cause I was a little surprised by the call and request) and they said "A listener sent us your CD for us to listen to it, and we loved what we heard and want to know more about you!" ---> That was a pleasant surprise!!!

3. I spent a cr@pload of money on my house since we moved in... But last night - it was cold in NH. The fact that I could turn on my pellet stove on med-high, sitting in my living room with my laptop on my lap and feel content about what my husband and I have accomplished together was really a nice feeling... I even shed a couple of happy tears!!! These happy tears made me feel alive and happy to be!!!!

His mom moved Thanksgiving to the Sunday after so I wouldn't have to drive five hours each way for a meal, and so I could volunteer to work for folks that have less seniority than me but younger children. A co-worker with more seniority wants that Sunday off specifically to make me miserable. John told me not to worry, if they made me work, he and his mom would come up and throw a Thanksgiving for me.

My family has adopted a family in need for the holiday season. Today we delivered new beds to their house for the two little boys, along with new iron man and spider man bedding! The boys were at grandma's and had no idea that they were getting these. I wish I could see the look on their face when they come home tomorrow to a new bedroom!!!

I have so many things to be happy about this week. We were supposed to go see my family for Thanksgiving this year, but things are too crazy at dh's work right now and we had to cancel. I was able a to find a great fare and surprised my mom with plane tickets to come see us. I'm so excited. Her favorite holiday is Christmas and so I'm going to have my house decked out and all of her favorite holiday dishes made!

I'm also happy that I have a wonderful husband that is willing to keep our boys so I can have some time to myself to go shop for holiday decorations today. I'm hitting up some of my favorites, C&B and Pier1.

I'm also happy i've been driving around in a hybrid Tahoe for the past few weeks and have gone 250+ miles and still have half a tank, woohoo!
