What inexpensive things do you and your SO do together?

I''ve been dying to go ice skating with K, but we haven''t been able to find anywhere that carries skates in his size.

That sounds like a lot of fun! 2 years ago FF and my family pitched in and got me the FRIENDS series DVD set. I watched the whole thing (alone) but I really want FF to watch with me. He hasn''t really ever watched FRIENDS but I keep telling him he would LOVE it!

Oh dear, LP, what size skate does K wear?

I do think we need to get out to the museums more often, and LOVE the sound of the fake sunset!! Sunset here this time of year is around 4pm, which is not really an ideal time for a picnic.

So being able to choose when to picnic under the setting sun is cool.

Hmm, I''ve thought about Netflix (or something like it) but am not sure that''s an option here in the UK. Will have to look further into it...

Kris has size 16EEE feet, which makes it difficult to do anything that involves specialty footwear! Luckily New Balance (and their dress-shoe line Dunham) goes up to size 18. Otherwise I don''t know what he''d wear!

Wow! So is he a pretty big guy too then? S wears size 11 shoe and he''s 6''2" tall (6''3" in shoes)

Oh yeah--he''s 6''7", so actually the foot size is proportional. I am excited, though--I found a ski rental shop here in Portland that carries boots in his size! I snowboard, but neither of us have ever skied, so I''m excited to try it with him.

oh! What about a Car show? I am planning on surprising SO in Feb and take him to the car show! he will LOVE IT! I don''t know if J is into that kind of thing, but guys just seem to love cars. But my guy is a techie enginerd type, so...

LOL Trillionaire--we go every year too. K is HUGE into cars. What types are your favorites? I like the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Convertible, the Audi S5, and the Jaguar XK8

It''s called lovefilm in the UK. Roughly the same price as Netflix, except change the $ sign to £ sign. They do a 30 days free trial and if you know anyone who already uses it, they sent out some 90 days free cards for people who already have it to give to friends.
