My favorite food has got to be curry. I can eat it everyday for weeks! It doesn''t matter if it''s Indian curry, Thai curry, Japanese curry, or just any food that contains the spice curry (like curry chicken salad).....

My husband is not a food person at all, and cannot find one thing that he can eat for 2 consecutive meals. I find that so sad

I forgot to add that my kids are like me, they love curry, and they are only 3 and 1 years old.

My 3 year old is a tomato person. He usually likes any dish that contains tomato sauce/paste. He eats spaghetti, pizza, ravioli and lasagna all the time. Funny thing is that he won''t use ketchup!

That is sad (that your husband is not a food person)!!! I'm with you on the curry Jaysonsmom ~ I especially love Thai curries, although not so healthy w/ the coconut milk!! I looooooooooooooooooove spicy foods so I think my other favorites that I could have everyday are also Thai dishes: Pad Thai noodles & tom yum soup w/ jasmine rice (also good w/ rice noodles instead of the jasmine rice). MMMMMMMMMMMM!!!! I've become pretty skilled at making all of the above listed dishes so now I'm dangerous!!!

I could eat mashed potatoes all day long, every day.

My bf could eat sushi for every meal and be happy.

I could eat pasta and ice cream (not together!!!) everyday...probably not prepared in the same manner though....

Dh could eat pizza eveyday...he''s a pizzaholic!! LOL

So far this summer I have really been enoying a classic chicken salad from a local market. They make it every day fresh and it''s yummy. I can''t believe that I''m not sick of it yet!!!!!

OH - also, I make fresh salsa ~ or really more of a pico de gallo ~ every Sunday afternoon w/ tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalepenos, lime juice, and salt. I eat this every day on almost everything - I put it on salads (no need for dressing), potatoes, chicken, fish, mix it with other vegetables, on top of hamburgers, on turkey sandwiches or my favorite thing lately has been to put it in a tortilla w/ smoked turkey & swiss & then heat on a skillet - yummmmmm!! I don''t think I could live w/out my salsa/pico concoction!! And of course, it is good on Tostitos tortilla chips!!

HI:

Bruchetta, guacamole (spelling)

cheers--Sharon

Olive Garden, Sushi, Chocolate with Almonds, iced or sprinkled sugar or shortbread cookies and Tostitos lime flavored chips with guacamole and pico de gallo.

mmmmmmm

I am allergic to curry...that stuff is death. I would say diet coke, if drinks dont count then Goldfish. Really I dont eat very many diffrent things mostly chicken and beef. I love freash locally made salsa...YUMMY! I love making fajietas and have them at least once a week. Grilled peppers are good too. I dont like many diffrent foods but the ones I do I love! Oh and if there were no calories involved I would never eat anything but Cheese fries with extra sharp chedder shoestrings and vegtable salt...with a ton of Heinz 57....aww my tummy is growling just thinking about it.

mushroom or cheese pizza with thin, crispy crust, hot and salted fries a fountain coke from McDonalds followed by mocha chip ice cream with chocolate jimmies....yum!!!!

This reminds me of a Japanese friend of mine who has to have steamed rice at every meal! He''ll eat Spaghetti with a side of plain steamed rice, hamburgers with rice, salad with rice, steak with rice...Everytime he''s invited to my house, I make sure there''s a whole pot of steamed rice, even at our superbowl party where we served fingerfoods, he asked if we had rice!

ok, no laughing please...

blueberries

mashed potatoes

chicken salad

crab dip

guacomole

I have this thing I call MY 4c''s of life - my favorite foods all start with the letter "C" !!

Corn, Crab, Champagne, Carrot Cake and for good measure the 5th is "Carats"! (the sparkly kind).

Any special occasion I HAVE to have all of these things. Just this past year, for my birthday, I picked a restaurant by their menu!
We were in Scotsdale for a business trip and I hit a goldmine with my restaurant choice. Not only was it a really nice place, they went out of their way to have carrot cake for me!!

I just love carrot cake, yummmmm.

OK teebee, I think you need to post some recipes! I love all the same foods as you, but don''t know how to make them (and don''t have a good recipe to try).

I''m also a huge curry and pasta fan, and could definitely eat ice cream every day. Oh, and Doritos guacamole flavoured chips too!

I''ll have to do that then!! I do have some very good Thai recipes so I will post them & any of my favorite Thai recipe websites so I''ll get them posted here in the next few days.

Popped corn .. the old-fashioned way made in a pot, with peanut oil and seasoned with butter and sometimes garlic salt, or Parmesan cheese, or Lawry''s season salt, or popcorn salt

Or, Dannon Apple and Cinnamon yogurt with granola stirred in ~ tastes like apple cobbler

And every day (ok, maybe missed one or two in 2003) for the past 10 years: for breakfast: 5 eggs (one yolk) scrambled with a little milk, a little cream cheese and served with whole grain toast with butter and coffee with Hazelnut creamer ... my parents laugh at my egg consumption and offer to buy me a hen !!!!!!!

i get sick of foods very fast and so i can't eat anything too much or else i end up hating it for months or even YEARS sometimes after. case in point is chinese food. we had it every friday when i was growing up, so once i moved out i never ate it, and had it maybe a handful of times in 8 years! greg really likes it so he gets it for lunch alot and we go about 1ce a month but that is all i can handle.

anyhow, i hate to say it but lately my thing has been SALADS and FRUIT. i can't get enough of it. i think because it's been so hot.
in the winter i crave mac and cheese and pot pies. comfort food. but i still have to space it out. i can't eat ANYTHING daily or else within a few weeks i'd be sick of it!

that said, i adore food and am a huge foodie. but i like variety of foods and what gets me excited is a type of food or a place with food..aka 'what are we having tonite' and i think about it all day. but i couldn't go to the same place twice in two days or even a week!

Hmmm....kix cereal....vanilla light 8th continent soymilk....chocolate....these butter toffee pecans I am doing the identity and package design for....

honey roasted peanuts.

anytime, anywhere

i could (and i literally do) eat peanut butter every single day of the week. it is truly the perfect food -- i can''t live without it. i have it every morning for breakfast on an english muffin, without fail. it''s definitely my "if you were stranded on an island" food.

now that''s not to say peanut butter is my "favorite" food -- after all, almost everyone''s "favorite" food is one that they couldn''t possibly eat every single day, or else we would all weigh 800 pounds! i am an italian girl so my favorite food is PASTA. mmmmm.

as for desserts, i''m not a sugary candy or cake person, but i do love cookies and (cliched thought it may be) my mom''s apple pie. salivating just thinking about it . . .

A girl I work with goes through an industrial size containerof Jif every 3 weeks. Its ASTONISHING to see someone eat what in liquid would be a gallon of peanut butter.

Another yummy food for me is Dierberg''s (local food store) Chunky Pecan and Grape Chicken Salad. Its yumminess on Breton crackers.

chicken lo mein no veggies and extra extra spicy with the chili paste!!! but only from Mandarin House in Columbus, GA... which is disappointing because I''m in Atlanta and it a 2 hour drive!

in town food... chick-fil-a sandwich and waffle fries with a large Dr. Pepper!! had it three times this week on my lunch break... definitely comfort food!!!

Pasta. I have been known to eat it for breakfast.

Oh I LOVE Chick Fil A fries but ONLY with Polynesian sauce.

Scrambled eggs with shredded potatoes and thick & smooth HOT (which you can never find in the grocery stores) taco sauce, with or without a tortilla shell
Fried eggs and wheat toast - I could eat eggs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
Curry dishes!!!!! Thai, Indian, bring it on! If I''m not blowing my nose at the end of the meal, it wasn''t good enough!
Tofu or TVP (fake meat) and vegetable dishes - fried rice, stir-fry, on couscous, pastas, etc.
Thin crust pizza, mozzarella, artichoke hearts, spinach, sundried tomatoes, black olives, and green peppers
Avocado rolls!
Vanilla lowfat yogurt with fruit and grape nuts or wheat germ on top
Rich DARK chocolate!!

Just let me rotate these meals around and I''ll be happy for the rest of my life!
(Can you tell I''m lacto-ovo vegetarian?)

I love Mexican food as long as it is not toooo spicy. I also love Italian food. If I had to pick, I could live on crusty french bread, great cheeses, fruits (berries, grapes, cherries, peaches, nectarines, tangerines papaya, figs, dates) and salads. I do love all things pretty well, and alternate when I crave, sometimes it is sweet, sometimes salty/crunchy...sometimes creamy (mashed potatoes, crab dip, mac and cheese)...I love cheese and crackers with grapes, too..I do eat meat, but could live without it...I will eat most types of meat, but do not like things that are too exotic like ostrich, buffalo etc. I am sure they taste fine but I have definite ideas about what should and should not be eaten!
