I'm going with burnt orange, yellow, ivory and sage green.

Pandora, we have a very similar color scheme! I'm throwing brown in there, too. I agree about being surprised at so many people using orangey hues (in general)--I thought I was weird!

I know, I''ve had a lot of raised eyebrows about it!

I think if it''s done well it looks amazing. People just seem to think I''m going to have a traditional shower bouquet of salmon pink roses - which would look a bit yuck!

I''ve found some amazing orangy yellow orchids - I''ll try and find some pics as they are to die for.

Thanks for posting all your bits and pieces - given me some more inspiration. I love your BM dress. My eldest one is 12, but I want to find her something quite grown-up and sophisticated to make her feel special.

I really like the idea of a pale blue as the major color with cream and green accents. I want to use Calla Lillies in the boquet so I kinda started from there and decided what might look good. See the pics to get an idea...

When I was planning the wedding, I originally wanted the color scheme to be red/gold/sage/ivory. Then we went dress shopping, and we ended up with mango/copper BM dresses and a purple evening gown for me. So added some of those colors to my bouquet. I ended up with a bouquet with red roses, peach roses, green cymbidium orchids, purple calla lilies, and white hydrangea (for our tea ceremony and 1st banquet reception).

Our wedding party is being goofy and making faces in the background. You can see my bouquet pretty well here.

We''re doing chocolate and pink! I haven''t decided if it''s going to be light pink, blush or hot pinks and bolds. or maybe a mix of both! It kinda depends on what kind of decorations we can get and flowers we can afford. And then we might add some cream or light gold accents too, if the guys are really opposed to pink vests. haha

Here are the BM dresses I was thinking of...they are also in the color scheme we are doing. My personal favorite is the second one from the left (the brown strapless with the pink cuff trim) but I am thinking I will let my BMs choose whatever they want. Although I think I am going to ask that they choose the dress in brown with pink accents, instead of pink with brown accents.

And here is the location. The skirts will be knee length I think (although if they really want long ones they can have it). I thought the brown and pink would go nice with the natural greenery and stone look of the place.
