My first was a marquise, my first upgrade a pear, and my current is an ovel. I like my stones to look big for their size!

Okay this is said with humor... but your next will be a round or cushion LOL Long and two points, long and one point, one round, long and two rounds... next you either shrink it or grow it some corners LOL! hehehe

I have a radiant too. Isn''t it funny how most people have rounds yet the radiant people are so vocal on this site!!! I''m from New Zealand and don''t know anyone else who has a radiant cut diamond. Most of my friends have rounds, a couple have princess cuts and one has an asscher. Most people assume mine is a princess and haven''t even heard of a radiant cut. I love that crushed ice look, I could stare at it all day - my only problem is that my diamond keeps shrinking - must be all that cleaning!!!

Both my original e-ring stone and my upgrade are pears. My original pear is set in a pendant surrounded by sapphires and my upgrade is in my avatar.

I also have a set of pear shaped diamond stud earrings. I guess you can tell from my user name what my preference is.

My e-ring is a marquise. My wedding band is a five stone ring with rounds, and I have two RH rings with princess cuts. I love all diamonds of all shapes and sizes. I would LOVE to have an asscher and a pear for a pendant someday. I guess that would mean I need TWO pendants.

Finally the rounds have come out of hiding and are in the lead! However, if you add up princess & radiant, it''s very close. If you add in cushions to the princess & radiants, there is more!

I actually thought there would be far more rounds than fancy shapes. I thought I heard that 80% of all diamonds sold are round.

New to the arena and wanted to add my shapes...I have a .75 brilliant cut (inherited from Mom) and my engagement ring is a 1.01 Radiant, VS1, D color, set in platinum...just picked out the wedding band...a Memoire band with 12 spaced rounds diamonds in clusters of three...
