what should i get in a 5 stones band?!!!

Hi..
i will buy a 5 stones band and i want to know which one shall i buy? 5 stones 0.25 ct color: H VS1 or 5 stones 0.30 ct color:H VS2 ??

Please help! ..
i want to buy the 5 stones 0.30 and compromise with the clarity in order to have bigger stones but my friends say that VS2 is not too good so compromise with size and buy 0.25 in order to get better clarity ..

would a little more size create more impact than clarity (possible harder to see); however, I am picky, so maybe that answers my own question...

I wouldn't worry about VS2 in stones that small. Those are almost always eyeclean, but you can specify to the one making the ring that you request that the stones are 100% eyeclean from the top and sides. There is nothing wrong with H VS2 at all. I also like higher clarity but I am more picky about that in a solitaire diamond. My studs are ideal cut H VS2 and they are fine!

I have a 5 stone band that has .33 for each diamond. They are all either H or I in color and all SI1 (I think there might a VS2 in the mix). I cannot see an inclusion in ANY of the stones. I have the U-prong style so I can see the entire stone from the side. Not one mark anywhere. VS1 is overkill especially in this size stone. So, go with the larger stones!!

Yes, absolutely! When your friend commented on the specs for your stones, what was she going by? Where did she get the information that VS2 is questionable? Do you have an idea of who you like to make your ring?

clarity/color is not an issue here. are these stones well cut?..what size will this ring be?.. my wife's 1.27 ctw gets good finger coverage on her 4.75 size ring.
