What to do with micro pave?

I am having my FY cushion reset. It’s currently in 1pt. micro pave which I never loved. I’m guessing I must have agreed to it because of cost. Anyway, between the halo engagement ring and wedding band, there are 2.55 ct tw. Any ideas on how I could reuse the stones? I thought about a bangle but there aren’t enough. I could get more but thought I would throw it out there for some inspiration!

Could you sell the rings? In the past, I have heard that its not very cost-effective to reuse pave
because of the labor required to take them out of the setting.

Any pictures?

You can take a look at this thread. The old stones/ring belonged to her Grandmother
I believe so she definitely wanted to reuse them. They were also bigger.

Almost certainly not worth the effort of extraction and resetting. Try trading it in with your jeweller for a discount on a new piece or selling the setting alone.

Or - replace the center with a colored stone and wear as RHR?

Take the main head off, fill the space in with new pave stones, and keep it as a dainty stand alone band.

Here it is. I also didn’t like the corners on the setting so I don’t think I would repurpose it myself.

I had them soldered together because the wedding band kept spinning around and the small space on the back left for sizing was visible. So, it would be 2 rings stuck together. They mentioned trying to separate them but I don’t love the micro pave anyway so wouldn’t wear just the band.

As others have said, you won't come out well reusing the diamonds. It won't be worth it. See what your jeweler will offer you for the metal and diamonds, or you can attempt to sell them yourself. But I will tell you selling a cushion setting is going to be harder to find a buyer than for a round. Do have them separated if you try to sell them.
