Best: cuisinart food processor. I LOVE cooking and I only had a small small one. This puppy is HUGE and I''ve used it to make a million things.

Worst: Sigh. We got a set of the ugliest rice bowls ever. A big serving bowl and four individual bowls. They are plastic and are painted to look like people, including little hats. What do I do with these? They are HUGE! I looked them up online and they are pricy - about $150 for the set of five so I''d feel guilty not keeping them. They are only sold in NYC and I''m in LA - too far to return.

Situations like this are what Ebay was made for.

Normally I''d agree, but there have been NO similar bowls sold on eBay that I can find. None. So I doubt they''d sell. I might give it a shot anyway...

We got many awesome gifts, I couldn''t really say which one was the best. One thing that deserves mention though, although it''s not a thing per say, is how my sister came through for me and was the most amazing MOH ever, after all the grief she''d put me through when I was first engaged.

Worst gift? DH''s cousin got us a vine/floral patterned wall chandelier thingy (with no receipt so we couldn''t take it back). It''s ugly, it''s huge and I''m really not a candle person. So it''s still in the box and will probably never leave the box. Oh, and from the same side of DH''s family, a few people bought a bunch of crap at a dollar store as a joke to mock our registry. They thought it was terribly funny, but I thought it was just bad taste and they could have spent the 50+$ on something that we actually registered for...

My friends were married last October. The bride''s FMIL at the time bought her gown, and one of her bridesmaids (a cousin, maybe) paid for her photographer. Those are wonderful gifts! The groom had out of state relatives come, bring their kids, and have dinner for 5 or 6...and gift a wooden spoon. One lousy wooden spoon!

I haven''t had my shower yet, and no gifts other than a check from one aunt, but my best gift with be my grandmother''s Mikimoto pearls, which she left me as a gift for my wedding day.
