My current plan is to half elope..
Meaning that we will have our immediate family plus one close friend each there but that no-one else will know about it.
It will be an outdoor wedding in an established garden, followed by a dinner at a nice restaurant. Dress will still be cocktail and I will still wear a traditional wedding dress, but apart from that it will be very informal.
After the honeymoon we will have an ''engagement'' party at which we will announce that we are actually married!
This way, I don''t have to stress and worry about all the guests on my wedding day, I can just relax and enjoy it with my SO. And, I can still have a big party to celebrate later. Plus it will be a lot cheaper- I have priced it already at about $2500 AUD.
