"Caught you?" Goodness I sound like a monster, exposing you as if you did something wrong.
I'm a very nice person actually, contrary to the perceptions of a few around here.
Treated vs. natural is a topic discussed here every day on the Colored Stones forum.
PS is all about education, and treatment vs. natural is a very important topic.
Every example posted of each type advances our knowledge.
The only time a treated stone is a bad thing is if it is passed off as non-treated and you are deceived and overpay.
You knew what you were buying, loved the price and got a lovely blue diamond.
Blues that GIA graded fully natural are priced through the roof.
I agree that yours is a more natural-looking blue than most other irradiated blues and I'd be delighted to wear it.
BTW, I'd also be delighted to wear some fully natural Green Blue or Blue Green diamonds with that teal hue that many people associate with treatment.
I heard someone here say they'd never pony up for a natural diamond of that teal hue because it looks treated.
I say it only looks treated to people who don't know there are also natural ones of that hue too.
I also say, who are you wearing it for, yourself or others?
