Whats for dinner tonight?

Chinese *blargh* buffet.

I had to eat there because Mr.CHills finished his finals today, and it was kind of a celebration. Last time we ate there was Oct. 10th. I know because my daughter dragged me there for her 8th birthday. And it wasn''t good then either. lol

Ya know, we really need a green sickie emoticon.

I''m going to chime in although I''m a day late to this thread. Last night my dad took my FI out for Indian. I had tandoori chicken with peppers and onions, naan, and basmati rice. I really wanted to get chicken tikka masala but ever since Surfgirl mentioned that it''s made with ghee, I''ve stayed away. The chicken''s flavor was really yummy but tandoori chicken itself is very dry. I gave the left overs to my dad.

I''m very excited for tonight''s dinner. We''re going to a friend''s baby''s birthday party and then my FI and I are going out to dinner at the restaurant where we''re getting married at. I can''t wait.

I made a balsamic-honey glazed pork loin with cilantro rice and a bit of salad last night.

I think I''m going to make a turkey sausage stuffed loaf of bread with sweet potato bisque tonight.

Hey everyone, I had to login to post this P.S. to my "tapas and tempranillo before a party" contribution to this thread. When my fiance came home from the office, he looked a bit bedraggled, dropped his bag on the floor, and said, "Sweetie, I''m not feeling well. Would you mind too much if we didn''t go to the party and instead just stayed in and ordered Chinese?"

Geez, there''s some power in these Pricescope threads! I swear I''m now thinking that the infamous Pricescope fairy dust works too!!

Baked chicken stuffed with gouda and red peppers, baked sweet potato, sourdough bread, and a caesar salad was the menu for last night. Today was homemade butternut squash soup (it came in a fresh kit - all I did was add chicken stock, water, and evaporated milk and let it cook on low for 6 hrs). The best thing about moving to Iowa: HY-VEE! I swear it''s the best grocery store on earth. Cheap and soooo many quick and fresh ideas for meals for 2.

I know the other night has come and gone but I just finished eating fage with a touch of brown sugar splenda and Cheerios mixed in (I didn''t have any honey or high protein cereal from TJs). It''s 5:30...I guess that counted as dinner, huh?

On Topic: Whatever I can find in the fridge, I have leftovers from eating out last night, and I think leftovers from speghetti night, so likely - cesear salad and speghetti... I have a paper due, so it''s one of those ''no effort'' nights.
