I was running around like a crazy person wednesday morning getting ready to leave for work and I was going to be very very late so I left the kitchen a mess. When I got home that night my BF had cleaned the entire kitchen for me, had one of my favorite songs playing and asked me to slow dance in the kitchen. I love how he is constantly surprising me with the little things - I am such a lucky woman.

he comforted me last night when I was upset about something

Talked me into standing up for myself. I often don''t, and then regret it later. He knows when to push me, and when to back off, and I love that.

Instead of making me go to frisbee last night when I was upset and freaked out because I'd been lost and driving around for an hour and a half trying to find the field, he made me a "Roman Coke" (when I was little and my dad ordered a rum and Coke I misheard him and thought for years he drank Roman Cokes), and we curled up to watch The Office.

Also, I love our little words. It's funny how conversations have gradually gotten filled with code words and jokes. No matter where we are there's a little something special that nobody else is included in. It's nice.

OMG, Princesss! I thought the same thing! I thought I was the only ridiculous child!!

I was scrambling to get out the door for work and I left my cell at home, which was the worst day to do so as I was expecting a call from Whiteflash about a diamond we wanted to look at... Well my SO left a few minutes after me for work and raced to my parking lot just to deliver the phone to me. Needless to say I was quite impressed!

Me: "You are amazing, and I love you!"
Him: "I know"

Before he left for a weekend to visit a friend a couple of weeks ago, he brought home a beautiful orchid to keep me company while he was gone.
Also, if he gets home on time, he walks me to my gym.

Last night I was stressed about all the work I am trying to get down before my fun-filled weekend (won''t be as much fun if I don''t get the work done!) and he gave me a very matter-of-fact pep talk, complete with high-fives. I was ready to get work done after that :)

For my Bday, my DH put together a photo album of us. They were the worst pictures imaginable. (80''s big glasses, morning after in college, bed head ect)
And he wrote me a note saying "This is the girl I fell in love with" He is amazing!

Hee, that''s cute!

He saved me the last glass of wine Wednesday when I got home from dance class.

I''ve been so stressed getting ready for our move (literally every little thing that could go wrong to keep me from leaving has and i''m sure will) so he picked up pizza for supper and then of course, i spilled my on the floor after an especially horrible day and just burst into tears and he let me get it all out without judging me. i love him so much you guys don''t even know (ok you probably do) :-)

sunnyd, was it hard to find a dance class? I took ballet for 17 years and it''s such a pain in the butt to find a class for adults that isn''t too easy. ugh!

Surprised me by picking me up from the office so I didn''t have to take the train home. The CTA at rush hour is terrible (packed in like sardines!), and "chauffeur service" was really sweet of him.

He calls me nearly every morning to make sure I got up for work. I leave every morning before 7:30. I thought his morning calls were just because he likes to talk to me on his way to work too, but I asked him yesterday morning why he was up so early if he didn''t have to go in until noon. He said he sets his alarm anyway so he can make sure I''m up and then goes back to sleep. He knows I like to sleep in and press snooze too many times by accident or accidentally turn the alarm off without waking up. I''ve been known to sleep straight through the alarm as well since I am a heavy sleeper. I think that''s a really sweet way to take care of me, and I didn''t even know he was doing it.

He also sneaks into my room in the morning when we''re staying at his parents so he can kiss me good morning.

He tells me how beautiful I am and how lucky he is to have me on a daily basis. I''M the lucky one!!!

I''ve been having some severe abdominal pains lately, so I''ve been sleeping more than usual.

He crawled into bed last night (I was sleeping already) and was lightly running his fingers over my back and side. It''s something my dad used to do when I didn''t feel well, and out of habit I do it to my husband, too. He''s slowly learned that there''s just something aout that teeny tiny gesture that seems to make everything better.

I was feeling really sick on Wednesday so he left work early to come and pick me up from work, then drove me to work the next morning.

I have been so stressed at university with all the travel (its an hour and a half away in the city).. we have been planning to move so we could both be closer to the city because that is where SO works.. but, he said that he thinks it would be best it I transfered to UWS (a university which is a 5 minute drive away) so that I could keep my job and sleep in and not have to worry about catching public transport.

When I asked what the point would be because we are planning on moving, he said we could stay where we are and he would continue travelling to work everyday (for another 3 years!)... what a sweetheart

bought me garlic fries at the baseball game. silly, i know, but i love him for it!!

Last night he went out to pick up the pizza we ordered for dinner. He came home with the pizza and the Sex and the City movie for me. And ladies, he bought me the dvd--no two day rental for this gal! He also gave me The Devil Wears Prada movie when it came out on dvd. And on top of all that--he actually watched both movies with me! I guess that''s probably his way of saying, "Thank you for not asking me to take you to see these chick flicks when they were in the theaters."

Oh, and we looked at sparklies again today!

He sent 3 emails to my iPhone while I was at work today... one a picture of him pointing to his eye.. then second a picture of his sink where he''d written "miss" in whipped cream.. and the third the background on his desktop- a picture of me from this summer

Dear BF just told me that he wanted to mail me (in Sydney) the WF XO pendant that he bought me for Xmas, but was told by the post office guys (in Singapore) that he''s not allowed to. He was pretty disappointed cos he wanted to do that as a surprise for me. His plans fell thru, but I thought it''s the sweetest thing and I was smiling for the rest of the day!

Yesterday he bought me bought me the most expensive brand of smoked salmon for lunch and bought himself a 99 cent beef pie! He thinks nothing of splurging on me but always scrimps on himself. I don''t say it often enough but I''m very lucky to have him :)

Cute thread!

Well, my fridge was COMPLETELY empty, I think I only had a bottle of pesto in there. When I came home last night he had overstuffed the fridge with food. Veggies, exotic fruits, fresh herbs etc. All kinds of junk like caramel sauce, chocolate sauce which he HATES and never "lets" me have it but knows that I love it. He made me close my eyes before he opened the fridge door. lol.

On my b-day when he spoiled me rotten, let me sleep half the day away, did all the housework, then ran around like a headless chicken trying to get our wifi set up for my new macbook.

I took my cake slice home from the restaurant we went to, and he fed me my slice one teeny tiny bite at a time. It was so sweet I didn''t want the slice to finish....

...sigh... He was so cute!

A few weeks ago I was having an awful day at work and was stuck working really late. He knew I was grumpy and getting hungry (which makes it even worse) so when I came home, he had flowers for me, a beautiful card, and he was making dinner.

Oh, how I love my man

My SO is washing dishes as I type. He''s super sweet like that. He knows how much I hate washing dishes.

Every Tuesday night he puts out all the garbage cans to be picked up in the morning. I never ask him to do it--he just does it because he''s awesome.

I know that sounds weird, but it''s really nice that he does chores without being asked.

propose to me, haha i win! :) jk

My FI and I work for the same company and up until recently, the same department. When he was offered another job, he actually intended to decline the job so that I could apply for it. How sweet!!!!!
